Lisbon Training Workshop - Extended Deadline

We extended the registration deadline for the Lisbon Training Workshop on Quantum Technologies in Space to 16 JUNE 2017. We would welcome if you informed colleagues about the event as well as the extended deadline for registration.

 

The training workshop will cover topics of the complete COST action QTSpace with a focus on input from space industry and space agencies in order to train participants in the context of space technology and terminology. The morning sessions will consist of training sessions consisting of pedagogic talks as well as hands-on training in the spirit of a summer school but of potential interest to all participants. The afternoon sessions will be a scientific workshop where speakers will include representatives of the European Space Agency, from space industry as well as scientific talks from the scientific communities participating in the action: (1) quantum communication, (2) atom interferometry, (3) atomic clocks, and (4) quantum optomechanics and high-mass matter-wave interferometry. Registration is open until the 7th of June, 2017. Poster contributions are welcome, and there will be the opportunity for companies to present their work and products.
